How to Schedule a Survey in Movermate

Scheduling a survey allows you to assess a customer’s move before finalising pricing, resources, and planning. In Movermate, surveys can be created directly from both Leads and Jobs, giving you flexibility at any stage of your workflow.

Where to Find the “Schedule a Survey” Option

The option is located inside the Suggested Actions panel on the right-hand side of the screen.

Navigation Path:

  • Open a Lead or Job

  • Look to the right-hand side panel

  • Locate Suggested Actions

  • Click Actions

  • Select Schedule a survey


Step-by-Step: Schedule a Survey

Step 1: Open a Lead or Job

  • Go to Leads or Jobs from the main menu

  • Click on the relevant record

Step 2: Locate Suggested Actions Panel

  • On the right-hand side of the screen, you will see the Suggested Actions panel

  • This panel contains key actions related to the lead/job

Step 3: Click “Actions”

  • Inside the Suggested Actions panel

  • Click on the Actions dropdown button

Step 4: Select “Schedule a Survey”

  • From the dropdown list

  • Click Schedule a survey

  • A survey setup panel will open on the right

  • Click on Schedule a survey

Step 5: Enter Survey Details

Fill in the required fields:

Date & Time

  • Select when the survey will take place

Duration (minutes)

  • Default is 60 minutes

  • Adjust based on job size or complexity

Surveyor

  • Assign a team member responsible for the survey

Type

  • Choose:

    • Virtual

    • On-site

Description (Optional)

  • Add notes such as:

    • Access instructions

    • Parking details

    • Special requirements

Status

  • By default, the survey is set to Pending

  • You can update the status based on progress (e.g., Completed, Cancelled)

  • This helps track survey progress and visibility across your team

Step 6: Save the Survey

  • Click Save Changes

  • The survey will be successfully scheduled


Viewing Scheduled Surveys

Once a survey is created, you can view it directly within the lead or job.

Where to Find It

  • Open the Lead or Job

  • On the right-hand side panel, open the Actions dropdown and locate the Scheduled Surveys section

What You Can See

Each scheduled survey displays:

  • Survey Type (Virtual / On-site)

  • Status (e.g., Pending, Completed)

  • Date & Time

  • Duration

  • Assigned Surveyor

  • Description / Notes

Managing a Survey

From this section, you can:

  • Edit the survey

  • Delete the survey


What Happens After Scheduling

  • The survey is added to your Survey Calendar

  • The assigned surveyor can view it

  • It remains linked to the lead/job

  • You can edit or reschedule anytime
