How to Edit Job Sheet Terms and Conditions in Movermate

Updated over 2 weeks ago

Movermate allows you to customise the Job Sheet Terms and Conditions that customers sign on-site or digitally on the day of the move. These terms are distinct from the Booking Confirmation terms and are stored under the Job Configuration settings.

Purpose of the Job Sheet Terms and Conditions

The Job Sheet Terms and Conditions define the legal and operational guidelines for services provided on the moving day. This may include policies regarding liability, damages, access, payment, and customer responsibilities.

Steps to Edit the Job Sheet Terms and Conditions

Navigate to Settings

  1. From the left-hand navigation menu, click on Settings (gear icon).

  2. Scroll down to the Jobs section.

  3. Click on Jobs Configuration.

Open the Terms Editor

  1. In the Job Configuration screen, go to the Job Number tab.

  2. Locate the section titled Jobsheet Terms and Conditions.

  3. Click the Edit icon (pencil) on the right.

Customise the Content

  1. A rich text editor will appear where you can enter or modify your terms.

  2. You may:

    • Add or edit clauses (e.g., access requirements, damage liability, insurance notes).

    • Use formatting options such as headings, bold, bullets, and numbered lists.

    • Include merge tags if needed (e.g., {{Customer_Name}}, {{Job_ID}}).

  3. Ensure your language is clear, professional, and legally compliant.

Save the Changes

  1. Once editing is complete, click Save at the bottom right.

  2. These terms will now appear in the Job Sheet that the customer is required to sign on the day of the move (either digitally or in printed form).

Note: These terms are separate from the Booking Confirmation Terms shown before job confirmation.

Best Practices

  • Keep a standard format for easy review on mobile and tablets.

  • Ensure the terms cover day-of-move responsibilities, delays, damages, and final payment expectations.

  • Revisit and update these terms periodically to reflect business policy changes.
