Billable Time

Billable Time controls how working hours are calculated and rounded when charging customers.

Time Rounding Methods

You can select one of the following options:

  • No Rounding
Time is billed exactly as recorded.

  • Round Start / End Times
Start and finish times are rounded before calculating total billable hours.
    Example: 9:07 AM → 9:00 AM, 5:23 PM → 5:30 PM (15‑minute rounding)

  • Round Total Billable Time
Total billable hours are calculated first, breaks are deducted, and rounding is applied last.
    Example: 7.25 hours → 7.5 hours (30‑minute rounding)

This setting applies globally to all hourly jobs.

Job Number Configuration

  1. Switch to the Job Number tab to define the numbering format for your jobs.

  2. Job Number Prefix: Choose a prefix for your job numbers (e.g., JOB).

  3. Next Job Number: Set the starting number for your job numbers (e.g., 1461). The system will automatically increment this number for each new job.

By configuring the job numbers, MoverMate will automatically generate unique identifiers for each job, ensuring there are no duplications.
