How to Add Moving Hourly Rate Items in Movermate CRM

This guide will walk you through the process of adding unpacking hourly rate items, setting up prices, and configuring additional details such as callouts and deposits in Movermate CRM. These settings will help you customise your unpacking pricing structure and automate the estimation and invoicing process.

Access the Moving Hourly Rate Settings

  1. Log in to your Movermate CRM account.

  2. Navigate to the Settings menu in the left sidebar.

  3. Under the Pricing section, click on Moving Hourly Rate.


Turn on Toggle for Varying Prices by Day (Optional)

If you wish to set different rates for different days, follow these steps:

  1. Turn on the toggle labelled "Do your prices vary by days?"

  2. This will allow you to set hourly rates for each day of the week.


Add a New Item

To add a new moving hourly rate item:

Click the Add Item button located on the right side of the screen.


Add the Item Details

Fill in the following details to configure the moving rate item:

  1. Movers: Enter the number of movers required for the job.

  2. Truck Size: Select the appropriate truck size for the job.

  3. Minimum Hours: Specify the minimum hours to be charged for the job (based on the truck size and number of movers).

  4. Tax (Optional): Select the applicable tax rate if your system uses one

  5. Hourly Rate: Enter the rate per hour for the selected movers and truck size.

  6. Description: Provide a description for the item. This description will appear in estimates and invoices.


Configure Automation Rules (Optional)

  1. Enable Automation: If you want the rate to apply automatically under certain conditions, toggle Automation Rules to “On.”

  2. Set Job Types: Choose which job types (e.g., “Local Moving,” “Commercial Moving”) will trigger this unpacking rate.

  3. Define CBM Range: If needed, specify a minimum and maximum CBM (cubic meter) range.

  4. Select Job Size & Furnishing Type: Further refine when the rate should trigger by job size (small, medium, large, etc.) and furnishing type (residential, commercial, etc.).

  5. Add OR Conditions: Click Add OR Condition to create multiple sets of conditions, ensuring the rate applies if any one of them is met.


Add Callout Charges (Optional)

If you charge for a callout (e.g., a fee for travelling to a location), you can add the charge details.

Callout Charges: Toggle the option to indicate if you charge for a callout and enter the price for the callout charge.


Enable Heavy Lift Charges (Optional)

  1. Toggle the option to enable Heavy Lift Charges.

  2. Enter heavy lift Item Name

  3. Enter the price for heavy lifting based on your pricing structure (e.g., per item)

  4. Provide a description explaining the heavy lift charge (e.g., "Charges for moving heavy furniture or specialty items").


Set the Deposit (Optional)

You can define a deposit for the job to ensure clients pay a portion of the total upfront.

  1. Deposit Type: Choose whether the deposit will be a fixed amount or a percentage of the total estimate.

  2. Price: Enter the amount or percentage for the deposit.


Save the Item

Once you have entered all the necessary details, click Save to finalise and add the new item to your pricing list.
