This guide walks you through the process of adding packing hourly rate items, setting up prices, and configuring additional details such as callouts and deposits. These settings help you customize your packing pricing structure and automate the estimation and invoicing process.
Access the Packing Hourly Rate Settings
Log In: Sign in to your MoverMate CRM account.
Go to Settings: On the left-hand sidebar, click Settings.
Select Packing Hourly Rate: Under the Pricing section, click on Packing Hourly Rate.
Turn on Toggle for Varying Prices by Day (Optional)
If you want different rates for different days of the week:
Enable the Toggle: Locate the toggle labeled “Do your prices vary by days?”
Set Daily Rates: When enabled, you can set hourly rates for each day of the week.
Add New Packing Charges
Click “Add Item”: On the right side of the screen, select Add Item to create a new packing hourly rate entry.
Add the Item Details
Fill out the following fields to configure the packing rate item:
Packers: Enter the number of packers required for the job.
Min Hours: Specify the minimum number of hours to be charged, based on the chosen number of packers.
Tax (Optional): Select the applicable tax rate if your system uses one.
Hourly Rate: Enter the rate per hour for the specified number of packers.
Description: Provide a description for the item; this will appear in estimates and invoices.
Configure Automation Rules (Optional)
Enable Automation: If you want the rate to apply automatically under certain conditions, toggle Automation Rules to “On.”
Set Job Types: Choose which job types (e.g., “Local Moving,” “Commercial Moving”) will trigger this packing rate.
Define CBM Range: If necessary, specify a minimum and maximum CBM (cubic meter) range.
Select Job Size & Furnishing Type: Further refine when the rate should trigger by job size (small, medium, large, etc.) and furnishing type (residential, commercial, etc.).
Add OR Conditions: Click Add OR Condition to create multiple sets of conditions, ensuring the rate applies if any one of them is met.
Add Callout Charges (Optional)
If you charge for a callout (e.g., a fee for traveling to a location), you can add the details here:
Callout Charges: Toggle the option to indicate if you charge for a callout and enter the price.
Set the Deposit (Optional)
You can define a deposit for the job to ensure clients pay a portion of the total upfront:
Deposit Type: Choose whether the deposit is a fixed amount or a percentage of the total estimate.
Price: Enter the amount or percentage for the deposit.
Save the Item
Once you’ve entered all the necessary details, click Save to finalize and add the new packing hourly rate item to your pricing list.
