MoverMate provides a real-time tracking link for customers, ensuring complete transparency during the moving process. This guide explains how customers can use the tracking link to monitor job progress, track movers, access important job details, and stay informed throughout the move.


1. Understanding the Tracking Link

Once a job is scheduled, customers receive a tracking link. This link allows them to:

  • View the current status of the job with a progress bar.

  • Track the live location of the moving crew once they start their journey.

  • Check estimated arrival times (ETA) for pickup and drop-off.

  • Access job details, pricing, inventory, and activity logs for full transparency.

  • View assigned crew details, including the Team Leader's name and contact information.


2. Tracking Job Progress

Before the Job Starts

  • At the top of the tracking page, a progress bar indicates the current job status.

  • A map will show the pickup and drop-off locations.

  • Until the movers start their journey, the map remains static.

Once the Movers Are on the Way

  • As soon as the moving crew begins their journey, customers can track their real-time location.

  • The tracking system provides an ETA (Estimated Time of Arrival) for when the crew will reach the pickup location.

During the Move

  • Customers can monitor the entire moving process in real time, including:

    • Arriving at Pickup Location

    • In Transit to Drop-off

Job Overview

  • Job Date & Start Time – Customers can see when the move is scheduled to begin.

  • Move Size – Indicates the number of bedrooms or estimated volume of goods being moved.

  • Furnishing Type – Specifies whether the move is lightly furnished or fully furnished.

Pickup & Drop-off Locations

  • The pickup and drop-off addresses are displayed for reference.

  • If multiple stops or waypoints are involved, all addresses will be listed.

  • Customers can expand the location details for additional instructions such as parking information, access restrictions, or special handling notes.


5. Reviewing the Estimate & Pricing

Customers can check the estimated moving cost directly in the tracking link.

  • Estimate Breakdown – Displays hourly rates, call-out fees, additional services, and any extra charges.

  • Total Cost & Taxes – Shows the calculated subtotal, applicable taxes, and the final total.

The Activity Log includes:

  • Timestamps for all job events.

  • Status updates such as:

    • When the movers started their journey.

    • When they arrived at pickup and drop-off locations.

    • When the job was completed.

  • The system automatically logs each step, ensuring clear communication.
