MoverMate allows you to fully customise the Booking Confirmation document that customers review and sign when confirming their move. Using a visual editor, you can edit legal content while also personalising the layout with your branding, images, and formatting, ensuring clarity, professionalism, and consistency across every booking.
Purpose of the Booking Confirmation Document
The Booking Confirmation document is presented to customers before they confirm a job. It acts as a formal agreement between your business and the customer and typically includes:
Terms and conditions
Deposit and payment information
Service inclusions and exclusions
Liability and insurance disclaimers
This document ensures both parties clearly understand the scope of work and the conditions of service before the move proceeds.
Step-by-Step Guide to Editing the Document
Access the Booking Confirmation Template
Navigate to Settings from the main menu.
Under the Jobs section, click on Confirmation Details.
In the Booking Confirmation Steps screen, locate the field labeled Document.
Click the pencil (edit) icon next to the document name (for example, Booking Confirmation) to open the editor.
Use the Visual Editor to Customise the Layout
MoverMate uses a drag-and-drop visual editor, allowing full control over the document layout and content without technical knowledge.
You can:
Edit legal text using text blocks
Add banner images or coloured sections at the top or bottom
Insert your company logo, header image, or compliance badges
Use columns, buttons, dividers, and HTML blocks
Format text with bolding, bullet points, numbered lists, and headings
Adjust spacing and alignment to match your branding
The editor allows you to create a document that reflects your company’s tone, professionalism, and visual identity.
The layout can be fully tailored to reflect your company branding and tone.
Save the Updated Document
Once your edits are complete, click Save Changes in the top-right corner.
Your updated Booking Confirmation document will be:
Automatically applied to all future bookings
Displayed to customers during the booking confirmation process
Used for customer review and digital acceptance
Best Practices for Personalisation
To ensure clarity and a polished customer experience, we recommend:
Using a branded header banner with your logo and colours
Adding a footer section with contact details and legal disclaimers
Keeping all legal terms clear, readable, and well-structured
Using clear section headings such as:
Terms and Conditions
Your Responsibilities
Liability and Insurance
Service Inclusions
Avoiding overly dense text — use spacing and bullet points for readability
Testing the layout to ensure it renders correctly on desktop and mobile devices
Customising your Booking Confirmation document helps build trust, reduces disputes, and reinforces your brand at a critical point in the customer journey. Any changes you make are instantly reflected in future bookings, ensuring consistency and control across your operations.
