Movermate allows you to fully customise the Booking Confirmation document that customers sign when confirming their move. You can edit not only the legal content but also personalise the layout with banners, logos, and formatting using a visual editor.
Purpose of the Booking Confirmation Document
This document is presented to the customer before they confirm a job. It typically includes your terms and conditions, deposit information, and any disclaimers. It ensures clarity and agreement before service delivery.
Step-by-Step Guide to Editing the Document
Access the Booking Confirmation Template
Go to Settings from the main navigation.
Under the Jobs section, click on Confirmation Details.
In the Confirmation Steps screen, locate the field labeled Document.
Click the pencil icon beside the document name (e.g., “Booking Confirmation”) to open the visual editor.
Use the Visual Editor to Customise the Layout
MoverMate uses a drag-and-drop email editor that supports full visual customisation. You can:
Edit the terms and conditions text using the text block.
Add banners (images or coloured sections) at the top or bottom.
Insert your company logo, header image, or compliance badge.
Use columns, buttons, social media icons, or HTML blocks.
Customise text with styles, bolding, bullet points, or numbered lists.
The layout can be fully tailored to reflect your company branding and tone.
Save the Updated Document
After completing your changes, click Save Changes in the top-right corner.
Your updated document will be immediately applied to all future jobs.
Customers will view and sign this updated version when confirming their booking.
Best Practices for Personalisation
Include a branded header banner (e.g., company logo with background).
Add a footer banner with contact information or legal disclaimers.
Keep all legal terms clearly visible and easy to read.
Use clear section headings such as:
“Terms and Conditions”
“Your Responsibilities”
“Liability and Insurance”
“Service Inclusions”
If using HTML, ensure it renders properly across devices.
