Keeping Your Business Information Up-to-Date in MoverMate

Ensuring your business details are accurate is crucial for maintaining smooth communication, consistent branding, and providing a seamless customer experience. This guide will walk you through the steps to update your Business Details within MoverMate.

Accessing Business Details

  1. Log in to your MoverMate account.

  2. From the left sidebar, click on Settings.

  3. Under the General settings, select Business Details.

  4. You’ll now see all the information currently stored for your business.

Edit Your Business Information

In the Business Details section, all the information currently stored for your business will be visible. To make any updates, click the Edit button at the top-right corner of the page, next to your business details.

Update Your Information

After clicking Edit, you can update the following fields:

  1. Business Logo:

    • Upload or edit your company logo. This logo will appear on all customer-facing documents like job sheets, booking confirmations, invoices, and estimate PDFs.

  2. Business Name:

    • The official name of your business, shown across all customer communications and documentation.

  3. Email Address:

    • The primary email address used for communication, notifications, and customer outreach.

  4. Phone Number:

    • The phone number through which clients can contact your business.

  5. Business Address:

    • The registered address of your business, which may appear on job-related documents and communications with clients.

  6. Australian Business Number (ABN):

    • Your ABN (if applicable) is required for invoicing and tax compliance.

  7. Timezone:

    • Set the default timezone for scheduling jobs, calendar events, and timestamps within the system.

  8. Currency:

    • Choose the currency used for invoices, estimates, and payments.

  9. Primary Brand Colour:

    • Select your company’s primary colour. When enabled, this colour will be applied to public forms and ensure consistent branding across your materials.

  10. Apply Brand Colour:

    • Enable this option if you want your brand colour to be applied to public-facing pages, such as the Job Sheet, Inventory Form, and Booking Confirmation.

  11. Account ID:

    • Your Account ID is used for creating public forms where customers can enter job details, moving specifications, and more.

    • It must be between 3 to 20 characters long and can include letters, numbers, underscores (_), and hyphens (–).

    • Special characters, spaces, and punctuation are not allowed.

  12. Truck Size:

    • Define truck sizes based on your business needs.

    • You can choose between Tonne or CBM (Cubic Meters). This setting determines how truck capacity is displayed when scheduling and assigning jobs.

  13. Company Identity Number:

    • A unique system-generated ID that identifies your business in MoverMate and enables secure job transfers between companies.

    • This ID cannot be edited.

Save Your Changes

Once you’ve made the necessary updates:

  • Click Save to apply your changes.

  • If you do not want to keep the changes, click Cancel to discard them.

Review Your Updated Information

After saving, your updated business details will be displayed. Be sure to carefully review the information to ensure it’s accurate and reflects your current business setup.

How to Generate a Public Link

To create a public form link, simply append your Company URL slug to the end of the base URL. For example, if your Account ID is ABC_Movers, your public link will be:

https://app.movermate.com.au/ABC_Movers

This link can be shared with clients to allow them to enter job details directly into the system.

By keeping your Business Details up to date, you ensure that all customer-facing materials, communication, and internal job management are seamless and accurate.
