ICR Inventory vs. System Inventory

ICR Inventory and System Inventory serve different purposes in Movermate. This article explains the difference so you know which one to configure or use for a given task.

ICR Inventory

ICR Inventory is used to:

  • Document item conditions

  • Record Uplift and Delivery details

  • Add condition photos and notes

  • Record damages

  • Create formal Inventory Condition Reports

System Inventory

System Inventory is used to:

  • Build a general job inventory

  • Calculate inventory volume

  • Assist with estimates and job planning

  • Determine vehicle and capacity requirements

Important

Items configured in one inventory should not be assumed to automatically replace or update items in the other. They are maintained and used separately.

Keep Your ICR Inventory Updated

Keeping your ICR Inventory accurate and properly organised helps your crew:

  • Select the correct items

  • Find frequently used items more quickly

  • Record consistent condition information

  • Apply the correct Uplift and Delivery conditions

  • Add clear evidence of existing or new damage

  • Complete ICRs more efficiently

  • Maintain consistent records across jobs

Review your ICR Inventory regularly and update or rearrange any categories, items, images, or packing conditions that are no longer accurate.
