Timesheets FAQs

I'm not the team leader on a job does my personal timer affect the job status?

No. The personal work timer only records your own timesheet hours; it doesn't control the job status for the rest of the crew, and it isn't used for job payment or collection. See Recording Time on a Job.

Can I edit a timesheet that's still active (not clocked out yet)?

No. An active timesheet can't be edited — the crew member must clock out first. See Timesheet History, Attendance & Fixing a Rejected Timesheet.

Where do I start a break the job, the activity, or the Time Sheet screen?

Start it wherever you're currently working: from the active Job screen if you're on a job, from the active Activity screen if you're on an activity, or from the Time Sheet screen only if nothing is currently active. Full detail in Managing Breaks in the Crew App.

An activity won't complete, why?

The recorded activity must have a duration greater than zero. If the start and end times are identical, you'll need to enter a valid time range before it can be marked done. See Recording an Activity.

Do I need to record the same break twice if a job and an activity overlap?

No. Your shift maintains one overall break state, and overlapping break periods aren't double-counted. See the worked example in Managing Breaks in the Crew App.

What happens after I submit my timesheet?

It moves to Pending and becomes available for your manager to review in the CRM, where they can approve or reject it. See Approving & Rejecting Timesheets.

My timesheet was rejected what now?

Open it under the Rejected tab, read the reason your manager gave, tap Edit, make the correction, and resubmit. See Timesheet History, Attendance & Fixing a Rejected Timesheet.

Why doesn't my Total Duration match the sum of my job/activity time?

Total Duration includes break time; Net Working Time is what's left after breaks are subtracted. See How Break & Working Time Is Calculated.

Table view or Timeline view which should I use?

Table for reviewing individual entries and details; Timeline for a visual overview of team coverage across a day or week. See Timeline View (Day & Week).
