How to record time against a job in the Movermate Crew App, whether you're the team leader or another assigned crew member.
Once you've clocked in, time recorded against jobs feeds directly into your timesheet. What controls you see depends on whether you're the team leader on that job or another assigned crew member.
Finding Your Assigned Work
Tap Home in the bottom navigation bar.
Use the Today, Upcoming, Completed, or Pending tabs to find the job.
Use Search or the filter option if you need to locate something specific.
Understanding a Job Card
A job card can display customer name, job date, scheduled time, job ID, job type, crew, vehicle, address, and quick actions like Call Customer or Navigate. Tap a card to open it.
Inside a Job
The job screen can include tabs for Overview, Estimate, Media, Sign, and Inventory. The Overview tab shows details like move size, furnish type, estimated start/end time, and assigned movers - each shown with their role (DRIVER, FIELD_CREW, OFFSIDER). A star next to a name marks the team leader.
If You're the Team Leader
You control the overall job workflow:
On the Way — tap when travelling to the customer's location.
Start Job — tap when work actually begins; this starts recording time against the job.
Pause — tap when the job temporarily stops. If the pause is a break, it automatically syncs with your active timesheet (see Managing Breaks).
Resume — tap to continue after a pause.
End Job — tap once the work is complete.
If You're Not the Team Leader
You record your own hours using the personal work timer at the bottom of the job screen. It shows hours, minutes, and Pause/Stop controls, along with this note:
"For timesheet use only — this timer records your worked hours. It is not used for job payment or collection."
This timer only affects your own timesheet — it doesn't change the job status for the rest of the crew.
Pause — when you temporarily stop working
Resume — when you continue
Stop — when you finish your work on the job (a confirmation appears before your session ends)
