Mobile Message SMS Integration in Movermate

Mobile Message is an SMS gateway that lets you send and receive text messages with your customers directly from Movermate. Once connected, you can:

  • Send SMS messages from any Lead or Job

  • Receive customer replies inside Movermate

  • Track delivery status updates in activity logs

  • Manage all SMS conversations from one place

What You'll Need

Before starting, make sure you have:

  • An active Mobile Message account (mobilemessage.com.au)

  • Your API Username and API Password from Mobile Message

Step 1 — Get Your API Credentials from Mobile Message

  1. Log in to your Mobile Message account

  2. Navigate to Settings → API

  3. Under Create New API Key, enter a name (e.g. "Movermate")

  4. Click Create API Key

  5. In the popup, click Copy Username and Copy Password to save both values

  6. Click I have saved this password to close

Important: Your API Password is only shown once. Copy and store it securely before closing the dialog — you will not be able to retrieve it again.


Step 2 — Connect Mobile Message in Movermate

  1. Log in to Movermate and go to Settings from the left sidebar

  2. Click App Integration

  3. Scroll down to find the Mobile Message card

  4. Click the toggle to enable it — a connection dialog will appear

  5. Enter your API Username and API Password from Step 1

  6. Copy the Webhook URL shown at the bottom of the dialog

  7. Leave this dialog open — you will return to it in Step 4


Step 3 — Add the Webhook URL in Mobile Message

Note: This step ensures inbound SMS replies and delivery receipts sync back into Movermate automatically.

  1. Switch to your Mobile Message account

  2. Go to Settings → API

  3. Scroll down to the Webhook URLs section

  4. Paste the Movermate webhook URL into both fields:

    • Webhook URL for Inbound Messages

    • Webhook URL for Message Status Updates (Delivery Receipts)

Click Save Webhook URLs


Step 4 — Complete the Connection in Movermate

  1. Return to Movermate and the Connect Mobile Message dialog

  2. Click the Connect button

Note: You will see a success confirmation once the integration is active. The Mobile Message toggle will appear enabled on the App Integration page.


Step 5 — Sync Your Phone Numbers

  1. On the App Integration page, find the Mobile Message card

  2. Click Sync Numbers

Movermate will load all phone numbers from your Mobile Message account, making them available when composing SMS messages.


Step 6 — Send an SMS to a Customer

Once connected, you can send SMS messages directly from any Lead or Job.

  1. Open a Lead or Job

  2. Go to the Activity Logs tab

  3. Click the Message button

  4. Fill in:

    • SMS From — select your Mobile Message number

    • SMS To — the customer's phone number

    • Template (optional) — choose a saved SMS template

    • Type your message in the text field

  5. Click Send

All sent messages and delivery status updates will appear in the activity log timeline.

View SMS Conversations

All customer SMS conversations are available in one central location:

  1. Go to Communication → Text Messages from the left sidebar

  2. View all conversations in one place

  3. Open any conversation to read messages, send replies, and track history

Incoming replies from Mobile Message will automatically appear here in real time.


Disconnect Mobile Message

To remove the integration at any time:

  1. Go to Settings → App Integration

  2. Find the Mobile Message card

  3. Toggle the switch OFF

  4. Confirm the disconnection in the dialog

Once disconnected, SMS sending and syncing will stop until the integration is reconnected.
