How to configure Storage Settings in Movermate CRM

Configuring Storage in Movermate CRM allows you to fully customize all storage-related settings in one place. It helps you define storage unit statuses, job statuses, warehouses, and materials, ensuring your storage operations remain structured.

Accessing Storage Configuration Settings

  1. Log in to your MoverMate CRM account.

  2. From the left sidebar, navigate to Settings

  3. Under the Jobs section, click on Storage Configuration.


Storage Unit Statuses Configuration

  1. Access Storage Unit Statuses settings

    Navigate to the Storage Unit Statuses tab in the Storage Configuration section.

  2. Search Bar

    The search bar allows you to quickly find a specific storage unit status by name.

  3. Add a new Storage Unit Status

    Click on the + Add Storage Unit Status

    A Storage Unit status sheet pop-up will appear

  4. Enter Storage Unit Status Details

    Name – The name of the storage unit status (e.g., Available, Booked, Maintenance)

    Is Default – Indicates whether the status is set as the default for new storage units

  5. Edit or Delete Storage Unit Status

    Navigate to Actions and click on three-dot menu (⋮)

    Edit to make Storage Unit Status as default

    Delete to remove Storage unit status


Storage Job Statuses Configuration

  1. Access Storage Job Statuses settings

    Navigate to the Storage Job Statuses tab in the Storage Configuration section.

  2. Search Bar

    The search bar allows you to quickly find a specific storage job status by name.

  3. Add a new Storage Job Status

    Click on the + Add Storage Job Status

    A Storage Job status sheet pop-up will appear

  4. Enter Storage Job Status Details

    Name – The name of the storage job status (e.g., In Progress, Active,Completed, Cancelled)

    Is Default – Indicates whether the status is set as the default for new storage jobs

  5. Edit or Delete Storage Job Status

    Navigate to Actions and click on three-dot menu (⋮)

    Edit to make Storage Job Status as default

    Delete to remove Storage job status


Warehouse Configuration

The Warehouses section allows you to manage all storage locations within your system.

  1. Access Warehouse settings

    Navigate to the Warehouse tab in the Storage Configuration section.

  2. Search Bar

    The search bar allows you to quickly find a specific warehouse by name.

  3. Add a new Warehouse

    Click on the + Add Warehouse

    A Warehouse sheet pop-up will appear

  4. Enter Warehouse Details

    Name – The name of the warehouse

  5. Edit or Delete Warehouse

    Navigate to Actions and click on three-dot menu (⋮)

    Edit to change the name of the Warehouse

    Delete to remove the Warehouse from the system


Materials & Equipment Configuration

This section allows you to manage the materials and equipment used in storage operations.

  1. Access Materials & Equipment settings

    Navigate to the Materials & Equipment tab in the Storage Configuration section.

  2. Search Bar

    The search bar allows you to quickly find a specific Materials & Equipment by name.

  3. Add a new Material

    Click on the + Add Material

    A Materials sheet pop-up will appear

  4. Enter Materials Details

    Name – The name of the Material (e.g. Plastic wrap, Furniture pads, Paper, etc)

  5. Edit or Delete Materials

    Navigate to Actions and click on three-dot menu (⋮)

    Edit to change the name of the Material

    Delete to remove the Material from the system
