What this automation does

This automation automatically sends a Move Day Reminder email to customers 7 days before their scheduled move once the job is assigned.
It helps customers prepare in advance, reduces last-minute questions, and improves overall moving-day readiness.

How the automation works

Trigger
When a job has a status of Assigned

Action
Send an email to the customer
Uses the 7 Days Reminder email template

Timing
Sent 7 days ahead of the job date
(The timing can be customised to suit your workflow.)

This automation runs automatically once a job is assigned, ensuring customers receive timely reminders without manual follow-ups.

How to set it up

  1. Go to Settings → Automation Centre

  2. Click Add Automation

  3. Enter the workflow name:
    Move Day Reminder – 7 Days Out

  4. Configure the automation:

    • Trigger: When a job has a status of Assigned

    • Action: Send customer → Email

    • Email template: 7 Days Reminder

    • Timing: 7 days ahead of the job date

  5. Click Add Workflow

When setting up this automation, make sure you select the Gmail (📩) icon before choosing your email template.
