What this automation does

This automation automatically sends a Job Assignment Reminder email to the assigned crew one day before the scheduled job date.
It ensures your crew is fully informed ahead of time, reducing no-shows, miscommunication, and last-minute confusion.

How the automation works

Trigger
When a job has a status of Assigned

Action
Send an email to the assigned crew
Uses the Job Assignment Reminder email template

Timing
Sent 1 day ahead of the job date
(The timing can be customised if required.)

This automation runs automatically once a crew is assigned to a job, keeping everyone prepared without manual reminders.

How to set it up

  1. Go to Settings β†’ Automation Centre

  2. Click Add Automation

  3. Enter the workflow name:
    ​Crew Job Assignment Reminder

  4. Configure the automation:

    • Trigger: When a job has a status of Assigned

    • Action: Send assigned crew β†’ Email

    • Email template: Job Assignment Reminder

    • Timing: 1 day ahead of the job date

  5. Click Add Workflow
