MoverMate Merge Tags Guide (Dynamic Variables Reference & Usage)

MoverMate supports a wide range of dynamic merge tags that can be used across emails, documents, SMS templates, and automation workflows.

These merge tags automatically pull in relevant information such as customer details, job details, invoice data, estimate breakdowns, company information, and payment helping you personalise communication and automate your workflow.

How Merge Tags Work

A merge tag is a placeholder that gets replaced with real data when the message is sent.

Examples:

  • Hi {{Customer_First_Name}} → Hi John

  • Your move is booked for {{Job_Date}} → Your move is booked for 18 April 2026

Important Note: Link Merge Tags

MoverMate supports both button URL merge tags and standard URL merge tags.

  • Use button URL tags for CTA buttons (e.g. Book Now, Pay Now, View Inventory):

  • Use standard URL tags for clickable text links:

Add and Troubleshoot “Book Now” Buttons

MoverMate allows you to create dynamic “Book Now” buttons that direct customers to their personalised quote or booking page.

How to Add a Book Now Button

  1. Add a button element in your email template

  2. Set button text (e.g. Book Now or Confirm Booking)

  3. Insert this merge tag in the button link field:

  4. Save and send a test email

When to Use Button vs URL
