How to Add or Edit an Estimate in the Movermate Crew App

The MoverMate Crew App allows users to add or modify estimates directly within a job. Follow these steps to efficiently update job pricing and charges.

1. Accessing the Estimate Tab

  • Open the MoverMate Crew App and log in.

  • Navigate to the Home tab and select the job you want to edit.

  • Tap on the Estimate tab to view the existing estimate details.


2. Adding a New Item to the Estimate

  • Click on the + Add Item button at the bottom of the screen.

  • Start typing in the Category field.

    • If the item exists in the database, select it from the dropdown.

    • If manually entered (not suggested from the dropdown), details will need to be filled in manually.

  • Enter the Rate, Unit, and Quantity.

  • Select the applicable Tax Type (e.g., GST).

  • If necessary, add a Description for the charge.

  • Tap Save to add the item to the estimate.

3. Editing an Existing Estimate Item

  • In the Estimate Tab, locate the item you want to modify.

  • Tap the Edit (Pencil) icon next to the item.

  • Adjust the Rate, Quantity, Tax, or Description as needed.

  • Tap Save to update the estimate.

4. Deleting an Estimate Item

  • Locate the item in the Estimate Tab.

  • Tap the Delete (Trash Bin) icon next to the item.

  • Confirm the deletion when prompted.

5. Finalizing the Estimate

  • Review all estimate details to ensure accuracy.

  • The estimate will automatically update the job’s total cost.

  • Any changes will be reflected in the invoice summary at the end of the job.
