Taxes are an essential part of business operations. Movermate allows you to customise your tax settings based on your business needs.
Follow the steps below to manage your tax settings effectively:
Navigating to Tax Settings
From the Settings menu in MoverMate, locate the Finance section.
Click on Taxes to access the tax configuration page.
Adding a New Tax
Click the + Add Tax button at the top right corner.
A form will appear on the right side of the screen. Fill in the required fields:
Click Save to add the tax to the list.
Editing a Tax
Locate the tax you want to update from the list.
Click the three dots under the Actions column and select Edit.
Update the necessary fields in the form that appears.
Click Save to apply the changes.
Marking a Tax as Default
Identify the tax you want to set as the default.
Click the star icon next to the tax name to mark it as default.
This ensures that the default tax is automatically applied to estimates, invoices and transactions unless specified otherwise.
Deleting a Tax
Find the tax you wish to remove.
Click the three dots under the Actions column and select Delete.
Confirm the deletion.
Note: A tax cannot be deleted if it is currently being used in any active transactions.
