How to Connect and Configure Gmail for Email Integration in MoverMate

In this guide, you will learn how to connect your Gmail account to MoverMate and manage email settings such as making it public, or private, or setting it as the default sender. This integration allows you to send and receive emails from within MoverMate and automate email notifications.


Step 1: Connect Your Gmail Account

  1. Log in to MoverMate CRM:

    • Open your MoverMate CRM and navigate to the Settings section.

  2. Go to Email Settings:

    • In the Settings menu, under Integration, select Emails.

  3. Connect Your Gmail Account:

    • Click on the + Add Account button.

    • A Google Sign-In screen will appear. Enter your Google credentials and grant MoverMate permission to access your Gmail account.

    • You will be prompted to select what MoverMate can access from your Gmail. Ensure that the permissions for sending, receiving, and managing emails are granted.

    • Click Continue to complete the authentication.


Step 2: Set the Email as Public or Private

  1. Public Email:

    • If you mark the Gmail account as Public, all users in your organisation will be able to view and send emails using that Gmail account.

    • To set an email as Public, click on the three-dot menu next to the email and select Mark as Public.

  2. Private Email:

    • If you mark the Gmail account as Private, only the account holder (you) will be able to send emails using that account, but other users can view the email logs in the job activity section.

    • To set an email as Private, click on the three-dot menu next to the email and select Mark as Private.


Step 3: Set the Default Sender Email

  1. Choose Default Sender:

    • The Default Sender email will be used for all email automation and communications sent from MoverMate.

    • To set an email as the Default Sender, click on the three-dot menu next to the email and select Mark as Default Sender.

Important Note:

  • You can only have one default sender at a time. If you wish to change the default sender, you will need to mark another email as the default before you can disconnect the previous one.


Step 4: Disconnect an Email Account (Optional)

  1. Disconnecting the Gmail Account:

    • If you no longer wish to use a Gmail account with MoverMate, you can disconnect it.

    • To disconnect, click on the three-dot menu next to the email account and select Disconnect.

    • Note: You cannot disconnect the default sender email until you choose another default sender.


Step 5: Manage Your Email Preferences

  1. Review Your Email Settings:

    • In the Email Settings section, you can see the status of your connected Gmail accounts and whether they are marked as Public or Private.

    • You can also review the Default Sender to ensure that the correct email is used for all communication and automation.ext.
