Before you can send SMS messages, you must first enable SMS services in MoverMate CRM. Once enabled, you can send and receive messages using either a dedicated business number or your own mobile number.
Navigate to the "SMS" section in the Settings menu of the CRM.
Click on "Numbers" under the Integration tab.
Click on Create Account to activate SMS services. This will allow you to send and receive messages.
Once activated, you will see options to add either:
a Dedicated Number, or
Your Own Mobile Number.
Adding a Dedicated Business Number
Note: This option is perfect if you need a business-specific number to send SMS campaigns and have two-way conversations with customers.
Follow the steps below set up a dedicated number for your business:.
Step 1: Add a Dedicated Number
Click on Add Dedicated Number.
Enter a nickname for the dedicated number (e.g., "Business SMS Line").
Select the country from the list (e.g., Australia).
Choose a dedicated number from the list of available numbers and check the box to select it.
Click "Add" to confirm the number.
Add Payment Details for Dedicated Number

Using Your Own Mobile Number (Personal Number)
Note: This option is suitable for users who want to send and receive messages using their personal mobile phone number. The setup process is simple, and hereβs how to do it:
Follow the steps below set up a dedicated number for your business:.
Add Your Personal Mobile Number
Click on Add Personal Number.
Enter a nickname for the number (e.g., "Harry's Number").
Select the country and enter the mobile number.
Click "Send Code" to receive a verification code on your mobile device.
Enter the 6-digit verification code to confirm your number.
Start Sending SMS Messages
Once your personal number is verified, you can use it to send SMS messages from Movermate CRM. The replies will go directly to your mobile handset.
Configure Your Number's Status
Each number can be set as Public or Private:
Set the Default Sender Email
The Default Sender number is used for all automated SMS and system-generated text communications.
Set a Number as Default Sender
Locate the number in the Numbers list.
Click the three-dot menu under Actions.
Select Mark as Default Sender.
Note: You can only have one default sender at a time. If you wish to change the default sender, you will need to mark another email as the default before you can disconnect the previous one.
