Connect your own SMTP server so Movermate can send emails — notifications, confirmations, and automated customer communications — directly from your own domain. This works with any email provider, including Gmail, Outlook, and custom mail servers, and doesn't require OAuth or third-party API keys.

Have the following details ready from your email provider:

Tip: Most providers require an app password rather than your regular login password when connecting through SMTP, especially if two-factor authentication is enabled. Check your provider's documentation if you're unsure.

From the Movermate sidebar, go to Integrations. Scroll to find the SMTP card, which is labeled "Connect your own SMTP server to send emails."

Toggle the switch on the SMTP card to open the connection form.

In the Connect SMTP to Movermate dialog, enter your provider's SMTP host under SMTP Host (for example, smtp.gmail.com).

Choose the appropriate port from the SMTP Port dropdown:

Port 587 with STARTTLS is recommended for most providers.

Set Encryption to match your selected port:

Click Connect SMTP to save your settings. Once connected, the toggle on the SMTP card in Integrations will turn on, confirming the integration is active.

Use these as a starting point — always confirm current settings in your provider's own documentation, since they can change.
