Your display name is the name your recipients see when you send an email. Updating it ensures your emails reflect the correct identity or branding. Follow the steps below to update your display name in Gmail and Outlook while using Movermate.
Note: Changing your display name does not change your email address. If you use Movermate to send emails, you may need to reconnect your account after updating the name for changes to reflect.
Change Your Gmail Display Name in Movermate
Sign in to Gmail
Go to Gmail and log in.
Open Settings
Click the gear icon in the top-right corner.
Select See all settings.
Navigate to Accounts and Import
Go to the Accounts and Import tab.
Under Send mail as, locate the email you want to update.
Click Edit info.
Update Your Display Name
Enter the new display name in the popup window.
Select the new name and click Save Changes.
Reconnect Gmail to Movermate (if needed)
If your Gmail is linked to Movermate, reconnect the account so your updated name reflects in emails sent from the platform.

Sign in to Outlook
Open Outlook.com or your Outlook desktop app.
Access Profile Settings
Click your profile icon (top-right corner).
Select My Microsoft Account or View account.
Edit Name
Go to Your info.
Click Edit name.
Enter your new first and last name.
Complete the verification (captcha) if prompted.
Click Save.
Verify Changes
It may take some time for the new display name to appear in sent emails.
Tips for Movermate Users
After updating your display name, always send a test email to ensure it appears correctly.
If your email is linked to Movermate, reconnecting your account may be necessary for the changes to take effect.
