How to Add Shifts (Roster) for an Employee

  1. Navigate to the Employee’s Profile

    • Go to the Employees section.

    • Select the employee you want to add shifts for.

    • Click on the Roster tab on the employee’s profile page.

  2. Click on "Add Shift"

    On the Roster tab, click the + Add Shift button.

  3. Select the Shift Slot

    Choose the Shift Slot you want to assign:

  • Morning

  • Afternoon

  • All-day


Choose Shift Recurrence

You will be asked if the shift should recur weekly:

  • If No (the shift does not recur):

    1. Select the specific date on the calendar when you want to assign the shift.

    2. The shift will be added for that day only.

  • If Yes (the shift recurs weekly):

    1. Set the Recurrence Start Date: Select the date when the recurring shifts should start.

    2. Set the Recurrence End Date (optional): If you want the recurrence to be indefinite, leave the end date blank.

    3. Select the Days: Choose which days of the week (e.g., Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday) the shift should recur.


Save the Shift

After selecting the recurrence details, click the Add Shift button to save the shift.


View the Added Shifts

You can view the added shifts in the employee’s calendar:

  • Monthly View: Displays the entire month’s roster.

  • Weekly View: Shows the employee’s shifts for the current week.

  • Daily View: Shows the detailed view of shifts for a specific day.
