Overview: If an item on a job is bigger or smaller than the standard size, you can change its volume for that job. The job’s total volume then matches what’s really being moved, which helps with accurate quoting and planning.
1. Open the Inventory
Open the Lead or Job Summary.
Click the Inventory tab.
Click Edit.
The Add Inventory page opens.

2. Find the Item in the Consolidated Items Panel
The Consolidated Items panel on the right lists the items you’ve added, grouped by category.
Find the category, for example Bedrooms/Study.
If the items are hidden, click the arrow beside the category to expand it.

5. Save the Inventory
Check that the Total Volume at the bottom of the panel looks right, then click Save at the bottom of the Add Inventory page.
The new volume shows on the Inventory tab.
Tip: Edit an item’s volume only when the item is a different size from the standard. To change the standard size for every job, see Managing System Inventory.
