Editing customer details in MoverMate allows you to keep customer information accurate and up to date, including names, contact details, company information, and billing details. Follow this guide to make changes quickly and efficiently.
Access the Customer List
From the left-hand sidebar in the MoverMate dashboard, click Customers.
2. Use the search bar to find the customer you want to edit.
3. Click the Edit (pencil) icon next to the customer’s name, or click on that particular customer to open the Customer Summary Page.
Edit Customer Details
Click the Edit button.
2. A side panel will open, allowing you to update the customer’s information.
Details You Can Edit
First Name & Last Name
Update the customer’s name.Company Name
Modify or add a company name if the customer represents a business.Email Address
Edit the existing email or click + Add another email address to add multiple emails.Phone Number
Update the primary phone number or click + Add another phone number to add additional contact numbers.Billing Address
Update the billing address used on invoices, payment receipts, and financial records.
Save the Changes
Once you have made the required updates:
Click Save Changes in the top-right corner of the panel.
The updated information will immediately appear in:
The Customer List
The Customer Summary Page
Any new quotes, invoices, or payments created after the update
Manage Additional Customer Information
The Customer Summary Page provides access to all records linked to the customer, including:
Leads – View and manage customer enquiries
Jobs – Track active and completed jobs
Payments – Review recorded payments
Invoices – Access issued invoices
Delete a Customer
If required, click the trash icon to delete a customer.
Important: Deleting a customer may affect linked jobs, invoices, or payment records. It is recommended to edit customer details instead of deleting them wherever possible.
