Managing Leads: Edit, Duplicate, and Delete

In the Leads section, you can edit, duplicate, or delete leads. Here’s how to perform each action:

How to Edit a Lead

  1. Open the Leads Table:

    • Go to the Leads section from the main menu.

  2. Find the Lead:

    • Locate the lead you wish to modify.

  3. Edit the Lead:

    • Click on the three dots (•••) next to the lead’s name.

    • Select Edit from the dropdown menu.

    • Update the necessary fields, such as First Name, Last Name, Email, Phone Number, Job Type, and Moving Date.

  4. Save Changes:

    • Click Save after making your changes to update the lead.

How to Duplicate a Lead

  1. Open the Leads Table:

    • Navigate to the Leads section.

  2. Find the Lead to Duplicate:

    • Locate the lead you want to duplicate.

  3. Duplicate the Lead:

    • Click on the three dots (•••) next to the lead’s name.

    • Select Duplicate from the dropdown menu.

    • A new lead record will be created with the same details. You can now edit specific fields as needed.

    • Turn the toggle on if you want to populate the estimate and inventory.

  4. Save the Duplicated Lead:

    • Click Duplicate Lead after making any adjustments to finalise the duplicated lead.

How to Delete a Lead

  1. Open the Leads Table:

    • Go to the Leads section.

  2. Locate the Lead to Delete:

    • Find the lead you want to remove.

  3. Delete the Lead:

    • Click on the three dots (•••) next to the lead's name.

    • Select Delete from the dropdown menu.

    • Confirm the deletion when prompted. The lead will be permanently removed from the system.

Note: Deleting a lead is irreversible, so ensure you no longer need the lead data before confirming the deletion.
