Why Is the Deposit Showing as $0 When Sending an Estimate?

Learn why the deposit may appear as $0 in the Send Estimate section and which deposit settings you should check.

If the deposit appears as $0 when you send an estimate, the deposit amount or percentage may not be configured correctly.

Follow the steps below to review your deposit settings.

Check the Job Type Deposit

Go to:

Settings → Job Configuration → Job Type

Open the relevant Job Type and check that the correct deposit amount or percentage has been entered.

If no deposit is configured for the selected Job Type, the deposit may appear as $0 when sending the estimate.

Check the Booking Confirmation Deposit

Go to:

Settings → Booking Confirmation Steps

Open the Deposit step and confirm that the required deposit amount or percentage has been entered correctly.

Also make sure the Deposit step is included in your Booking Confirmation process.

Check the Deposit on the Estimate

  1. Open the relevant lead or job.

  2. Create or edit the estimate.

  3. Review the deposit amount or percentage.

  4. Confirm that the deposit has been calculated correctly.

  5. Save the estimate.

Once the deposit settings are configured correctly, the applicable deposit amount should appear in the Send Estimate section.

If the deposit continues to show as $0, review the selected Job Type and Booking Confirmation settings again.
